Get to Know Us
Our passionate Director, Gennia Nguyen created the Working Bee in order to increase the employability of persons living with a disability (pwd).
This honeycomb sized idea grew very quickly as pwd's began to show their motivations, interests, skills and abilities in various ways. With a passion to make pwd's dreams come true, the Working Bee now offers inclusive labour hire, jobs in Cleaning, Garden Maintenance, Information Technology, Web Design & Marketing, Social Media & Content creation, Craft creation and Market Stall Sales.
Opportunities are endless, especially for persons living with a disability. Whether you're a local employer, business owner or a pwd looking for work, get in touch. Come join our Working Bee now!
Employment Centre
At our Working Bee, we create a safe and inclusive space for individuals with a disability, offering support and empowerment through creative projects. Our community celebrates inclusion by sharing tutorials, experiences, and uplifting content. As part of the NDIS, we focus on building connections through fun and learning. Join us to explore, create, and grow together while promoting meaningful employment opportunities.
Our centre is designed to help you achieve your goals. We have dedicated space and equipment to suit multiple needs.
Join our BYO Program. You are welcome to bring your own therapist, participant or support worker and explore your hobbies or develop your skills in a safe space.
Share this with your support network, no service agreement just space fee from $22 per hour.

Group Activities
We also offer group activities that help individuals with disabilities build skills, gain confidence, and connect with employers. Through workshops, teamwork, job shadowing, and well-being support, participants enhance their employability and prepare for long-term career success.
Modern Supported Employment
Modern-day supported Employment and Inclusive Labour Hire, with a twist through our Working Bee. We don't just connect individuals with disabilities or mundane jobs, we look for job opportunities in areas you want to work. We help participants gain experience build skills and connect with supportive employers, empowering them for long-term career success.
Our job placements are scaffolded and backed by allied health professionals from Pathways to Work to ensure your job is safe and long term!

Projects
At Pathways to Work Working Bee, we are part of a community, We love to get involved in community projects and give back. We like to involve community members and showcase their achievements and goals.
We are 2025 Local Business Award Finalist
Check out our men's group the Bee's Nest Co, it's free to join and there is no obligation and is designed specifically for individuals with disabilities! This is a welcoming space where you can connect with others who share similar experiences and interests. We focus on inclusive projects, offering support, mentorship, and opportunities to build lasting friendships.
